Terms of Service

Last updated October 26, 2026

The short version: TwoNight is a free beta that helps you plan dates. Check details like opening hours before you go, be decent in what you add, and know that things may change or break while we build it.

Draft. This text hasn't been reviewed yet and may change before the beta opens.

These terms are an agreement between you and TwoNight (“TwoNight”, “we”, “us”) for using twonight.io and the TwoNight app. By creating an account you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The beta

TwoNight is in an invite-only beta for people in the United States and Canada. During the beta it's free. Features may change, be removed, or not work as expected, and we may reset or limit parts of the service while we build it. We'll give you notice before we start charging for anything, and you'll never be charged without choosing a paid plan.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 to use TwoNight.
  • You need an invite to sign up. Invites are personal; please don't sell them or post them publicly.
  • Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
  • One account per person.

3. Planning, not booking

TwoNight helps you find places and plan an evening. It never books, reserves or pays for anything, and we aren't a party to anything you arrange with a venue.

Place details, opening hours, prices, weather and travel times come from public datasets, forecasts, estimates and other members, and they can be wrong or out of date. Check anything important with the venue before you go, and use your own judgment about safety, travel and alcohol. TwoNight isn't responsible for venues or what happens at them.

4. Your partner's details

You can add your partner's name and preferences without them having an account. Only add information they're comfortable sharing, and remove it if they ask.

5. What you contribute

Members can add places, activities, tags, opening hours, votes and flags, and send us feedback. You keep ownership of what you contribute. You give TwoNight a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, store, copy, edit, combine with other data, display and share your contributions as part of TwoNight. This license continues after you delete your account, so the catalog stays useful for other members, but your contributions are no longer linked to you. We may use feedback you send to improve TwoNight without owing you anything.

Only contribute what's accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share.

6. Things you can't do

  • Add false, misleading, hateful, harassing, sexual or illegal content.
  • Add personal information about other people, apart from your partner's details above.
  • Promote a business through fake activities, votes or flags.
  • Scrape, copy in bulk, or resell TwoNight's data, or use bots to create accounts, request invites or contribute.
  • Try to get around limits, access other members' data, or disrupt the service.
  • Use TwoNight in a way that breaks the law.

We may remove contributions or hide places that break these rules or look wrong.

7. Sharing plans

When you turn on a share link, anyone with the link can see that itinerary without an account. Share it only with people you trust, and turn it off when you no longer need it.

8. Our content and data from others

TwoNight's design, name, logo and software belong to us. Place data, maps, weather and travel times come from third parties under their own licenses, listed on Data and credits.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using TwoNight and delete your account any time from Account settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and we may end the beta or TwoNight itself. Where we reasonably can, we'll give notice so you can save your plans.

10. No warranties

TwoNight is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free, as far as the law allows. Some places don't allow these exclusions, so they may not all apply to you.

11. Limit of liability

As far as the law allows, TwoNight isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost plans, data, money or opportunities, arising from your use of TwoNight. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the laws where you live.

12. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please email us so we can try to sort it out. If you live in Canada or another place whose consumer laws give you the right to bring claims where you live under local law, nothing here takes that away.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as TwoNight changes. We'll update the date at the top, and for a significant change we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using TwoNight after that, the new terms apply.

14. Contact
